A large part of it is located inside the body. In some women, if the skin covering the clitoris (clitoral hood) is slightly larger, the part that is visible externally may seem very small. This is also called the &#8216;hidden clitoris&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Hormonal Levels: The level of testosterone, a male hormone in a woman&#8217;s body, can affect the size of the clitoris. In women with very low levels of this hormone, the size of the clitoris is only normal. (However, in conditions such as PCOS, when this hormone is increased, the size of the clitoris can increase slightly.)<\/p>\n<p>Lack of Sexual Arousal: Only when sexually aroused does a large amount of blood flow to the clitoris and it expands (erectile tissue). Normally, it is very small and shrunken. It is quite natural for it to appear smaller when viewed in an unstimulated state.<\/p>\n<p>Aging and Low Estrogen: As women age, especially after menopause, the level of the hormone estrogen in the body decreases significantly.
