Is your heart in danger? Don’t ignore these 6 symptoms!

The main warnings that the body gives when there is a problem with the heart are as follows:

1. Chest Discomfort
This is the most common symptom of heart disease. You may feel a sharp pressure, pain, or burning in the chest. It usually lasts for a few minutes and may go away when you rest. However, not all heart pain occurs in the center of the chest.

2. Shortness of Breath
Excessive wheezing when walking short distances or climbing stairs may be a sign of a decrease in the pumping capacity of the heart. If you feel difficulty breathing even when resting, it should be taken seriously.

3. Pain in other parts of the body
Pain from the heart often spreads to the left shoulder and arms. In addition, unexplained pain in the jaw, neck, and back can also be a sign of heart failure.

4. Excessive sweating and fatigue
Cold sweat and sudden fatigue are signs that the heart is suffering too much. Women are more likely to experience these symptoms than men.

5. Swelling in the legs
When the heart is unable to pump blood properly, blood accumulates in the veins, causing fluid to accumulate in the legs and feet. This is called ‘edema’.

6. Irregular heartbeat
When the heart beats abnormally fast (palpitations) or when sitting normally, it may be due to damage to the heart valves or muscles.

There are 3 things to pay attention to for heart health:
Diet: Include salt, oil, sweets, and plenty of fruits and vegetables.

Exercise: Walking briskly for at least 30 minutes every day will strengthen the heart muscles.

Checkups: Check BP (Blood Pressure), cholesterol, and sugar on time and keep them under control.
