Memory power can be quadrupled! Practice these 6 techniques to wake up your brain

Forgetting things you study, not remembering where you put things, etc. are a common problem today. But if you give the brain proper exercise and nutrition, you can improve your memory miraculously.

1. Brahmi mixed milk
In Ayurveda, Brahmi is considered the best medicine for memory and intelligence. It stimulates the cells in the brain and gives peace to the mind.

How to do it: Before going to bed at night, drinking a glass of milk mixed with a little Brahmi ghee or powder will help improve your memory.

2. Omega-3 fatty acid
60 percent of the brain is fat. One of the most important of these is Omega-3. It increases memory and thinking ability.

Include: Walnuts, almonds, fish like sardines, mackerel, and chia seeds.

3. Inversion Method
Increasing blood flow to the brain can help improve memory.

How to do it: Practice simple yoga poses with your head down for 5 minutes every day (such as Sarvangasana or slowly bending over and touching your feet). This brings more oxygen to the brain.

4. Brain Games
Play Sudoku, chess, and puzzles to exercise your brain. Learning new things (such as a new language or music) can help keep the neurons in your brain active.

5. Quality Sleep
When we sleep, the brain collects information and converts it into memories. People who do not get 7-8 hours of deep sleep every day are more likely to suffer from memory loss.

6. Turmeric and Memory
The ‘curcumin’ in turmeric reduces inflammation in the brain and prevents memory-damaging factors. Including turmeric in your daily diet is good for brain health.

A ‘psychology’ tip to remember quickly:
Try telling someone else what you are learning or needing to remember (Teaching Technique). This will help you retain that information in your brain for a long time
