The ingredients in our kitchen are more effective for hair growth than using shampoos and oils containing chemicals.
1. Onion Juice
Onion juice is one of the fastest-acting remedies for hair growth. The sulfur in it strengthens the hair and helps in the growth of new hair strands.
How to do it: Grate a small onion, extract its juice and apply it on the scalp. After 30 minutes, wash it off with a mild shampoo. Do this twice a week.
2. Curry leaves and coconut oil
This traditional method of Malayalis is good for giving black hair and preventing hair loss.
How to do it: Boil a handful of curry leaves in coconut oil until it turns black. After cooling this oil, applying it to the head and massaging it will increase blood flow.
3. Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe Vera helps to treat scalp infections and make hair shiny and soft.
Directions: Apply fresh aloe vera gel to your scalp and leave it on for 45 minutes. This will balance the pH level of your scalp and stimulate hair growth.
4. Fenugreek Mask
Fenugreek is rich in proteins and nicotinic acid, which are essential for healthy hair.
Directions: Soak fenugreek in water overnight and rub it on your scalp in the morning. This will help get rid of dandruff and give your hair volume.
5. Egg White
This is a storehouse of protein, which is essential for hair growth.
Directions: Mix egg white and a little olive oil and use it as a hair mask. This prevents hair breakage.
Things to note for best results:
Food: Eat foods rich in biotin, zinc, and protein (eggs, fish, nuts), which are essential for hair growth.
Water: Hair can only get moisture if the body is hydrated.
Stress: Excessive tension is a major cause of hair loss.
