Children not eating? It could be due to worms; 5 important things to pay attention to

Worm infestation is one of the most harmful things that affects the growth and health of children. If not given enough attention, it can lead to anemia and other physical disorders. The main reasons for worms to enter the intestines are:

Playing in the soil: When children play in the soil, worm eggs are likely to stick between their nails and on their hands. Eating food without cleaning their hands directly reaches the stomach. Worm eggs can remain in the soil for a long time.

Lack of hygiene: Not washing hands properly with soap after defecation causes the spread of worms. Growing long nails and biting them provide an easy way for worm eggs to enter the body.

Contaminated food and water: Worms can enter the body through exposed food or vegetables that have not been washed properly. Drinking contaminated water is also a major cause of worm infestation.

Undercooked meat: Tapeworms can enter the human body through undercooked meat (especially pork and beef). Cooking meat at high temperatures can kill the worms.

Not wearing shoes: The larvae of some worms in the soil (for example, hookworms) can penetrate the skin of the feet and enter the bloodstream. Walking barefoot on the ground can lead to such infections.
