‘Bone sweating’ is a word commonly used among Malayalis. This condition, in which you feel hot from inside your bones and your body is always tired, can often be a symptom of many other diseases. The main causes are:
Persistent fever and infection: When the body’s immunity decreases after typhoid, dengue fever or chronic viral fevers, pain and heat are felt in the bones. This is a sign that the body has not fully recovered.
Calcium and vitamin D deficiency: When calcium and vitamin D3, which are the basis of bone strength, decrease in the body, the bones become weak (Osteomalacia) and chronic pain and a kind of fatigue are felt in the legs and joints.
Excessive physical exertion and lack of rest: People who work in the hot sun and do not get enough rest often experience swelling and sweating in the bones due to the loss of electrolytes in the body.
Anemia: When the hemoglobin level in the blood decreases, not enough oxygen reaches the body’s cells. This leads to extreme fatigue, weakness in the limbs, and weakness in the bones.
Stress and Fatigue: Extreme stress can affect the muscles and nerves of the body. This can often be felt as pain in the bones and aching throughout the body.
