Are you bothered by chronic sneezing and itching? 5 main causes behind allergic diseases

Allergies occur when our body’s immune system overreacts to some external factors. Many substances that do not harm ordinary people can cause severe physical problems in those who are allergic. The main causes that lead to allergic diseases are:

Dust mites and mites in the atmosphere: This is the most important cause of allergies. Inhaling invisible ‘dust mites’ found in house dust, old books, curtains, and bedsheets causes chronic sneezing and nasal congestion (Allergic Rhinitis).

Pollen and weather changes (Pollen Allergy): When the amount of pollen in the atmosphere increases, allergy symptoms worsen in many people. When the weather changes, especially during the rainy season or winter, allergens in the air irritate the airways and this leads to diseases like asthma.

Food Allergies: Eating certain types of foods can cause sudden allergies in the body. These include seafood such as shrimp and crab, eggs, milk, peanuts, and some types of tubers. Eating these can cause itching or breathing difficulties.

Pet hair and saliva: The dead skin cells (dander) on the skin of pets such as cats and dogs, their hair, and saliva can cause severe allergies in many people. When these reach the lungs through the air, they cause suffocation and red eyes.

Chemicals and genetics: Some soaps, perfumes, hair dyes, or certain medications (such as antibiotics) that we use can cause allergies on the skin (contact dermatitis). Also, if the parents have allergies, the children are more likely to get it.
