Are warts and moles growing on the neck and face? 5 main reasons for their occurrence

Many people consider warts and moles to be the same thing. But they are caused by completely different reasons. While warts are a type of infection on the skin, moles are just excessive growths of the skin. Here are the main reasons behind their occurrence, which affect beauty and confidence:

HPV virus infection (cause of warts): Warts are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). This virus enters the body through small scratches or wounds on the skin and causes the cells in the outer layer of the skin to grow excessively, turning them into thick warts.

Immune deficiency and contact: Warts are contagious. They can be transmitted to others by using the same washcloth or soap as someone with warts or by having direct contact with them. People with low immunity are more susceptible to the virus and warts multiply all over the body.

Insulin resistance and obesity (cause of skin tags): The main reason for the appearance of small hanging lumps (Skin Tags) on the neck and armpits is high levels of the hormone insulin in the blood. When fat and insulin increase in the body, the skin cells are overstimulated and grow into lumps. This is often an early sign of diabetes.

Friction between the skin (Friction): Lumps are usually found in the folds of the skin (neck, armpits, eyelids, under the breasts). In these areas, excessive growth of cells can occur due to constant rubbing between the skin or tight clothing or necklaces.

Hormonal changes: Lumps often appear on the neck and face due to sudden hormonal changes in the body of women during pregnancy.
